A leading Dubai-based sportswear brand needed TPU patches that could withstand the extreme conditions of Middle Eastern outdoor sports. Their athletes train in temperatures exceeding 45°C, with intense UV exposure and frequent exposure to saltwater and chlorine from pools.
Traditional labels and patches failed within weeks—colors faded, adhesives loosened, and materials became brittle. They needed a solution engineered for the desert.
THE SOLUTION
U-MEKING's engineering team developed a custom TPU formulation specifically for the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) market. Our solution addressed every challenge:
Heat Resistance
Tested stable up to 50°C continuous exposure without warping or color shift
UV Stability
500+ hours UV chamber tested with less than 5% color degradation
Waterproof
100% waterproof with IPX7 rating for full submersion
Chemical Resistant
Chlorine, saltwater, and sweat resistant for pool and ocean sports
Manufacturing Process
Each patch was produced using our high-frequency welding technology, creating a seamless bond between the TPU and the 3D raised design elements. The brand's logo was rendered in a striking 3D relief effect that catches light and creates visual depth.
THE RESULTS
We delivered 10,847 TPU patches to Dubai via Emirates SkyCargo in just 7 days. The patches have now survived two complete summer seasons in the UAE without any reported failures.

ECO-FRIENDLY COMMITMENT
